Last December I received a piece of good news, that my submission to a local photo contest in Sendai had won a special award. It’s not exactly a prestigious photo contest, but I’m just happy I won something and it feels good to have my photo appreciated by someone. Plus, I get to treat myself to a nice dinner with the gift money.
So here is the winning shot, entitled ‘初めてのふるさとまつり’, meaning ‘My first summer festival’.
