Frequently Asked Questions

Are you available on weekdays?

No, unfortunately due to my schedule I could only take shoots on weekends. But please do contact me if you wish to consult.

What do I need to tell you before shooting starts?

Please do tell me about yourself and/or your family. I would love to know about your preferences and expectations regarding the shooting.

If there are particular props or poses that you would like to try please let me know. If you are not sure about any location, you may consult with me so I could suggest the best location for a particular time of shooting.

What if my preferred location has an admission fee?

Please cover one additional admission for me, thank you very much!

What if the weather is bad on the day of my session? Rain, snow etc..

In case of storm or heavy rain I will cancel the shoot and there will be no cancellation fee. Other than that, I will proceed with the session.

Please do understand that weather is rather unexpected in Tohoku region. In the event of light rain, we could proceed with umbrellas depending on location or change to more rain-friendly location.

I try my best to utilize the weather into the shoot, but please take note that the weather is beyond my control. If you are thinking to cancel, please read the FAQ item below.

Are there additional charges for locations outside of Sendai?

Yes, transportation fee will be charged separately. Depending on transport mode and travel time the amount may vary.

Do you provide raw images as final product?

Each image will be provided in JPEG format after retouching on skin tone and visual based on my photography style. There will be no raw images provided.

How will I get my photos after photo session is over?

Around 2 or 3 weeks after the shoot, I will upload the photos into a folder on Google Drive in its original size and I will share only to you.

Will my photos be watermarked?

Rest assured there will be no watermark, as you are free to use them as you like. They are your photos, after all!

Will images from my shooting session be included as part of online portfolio?

I am very selective when it comes to portfolio, however from time to time with your permission I will be including some photos from shooting sessions in portfolio. Please be assured that no full album will be publicly available. In addition names and locations are never disclosed to protect your privacy.

What if I need to cancel my session?

  1. Up to 3 days before the shoot, there will be no cancellation fee. For example if the shoot is on 5th of December, you can cancel for free up until 2nd of December.
  2. From 2 days before the shoot, a 50% cancellation fee is applied.
  3. If you wish to cancel on the day of shoot, a 100% cancellation fee is applied.
